At the 2014 embedded World, Digia announced that the Qt cross-platform application and UI development framework, under its Qt Enterprise offering, now supports the QNX Neutrino operating system 6.6. At the trade show Digia demonstrated an evaluation board running Qt Enterprise on the QNX OS as well as a demo based on the QNX CAR Platform for Infotainment.

Digia has introduced Qt version 5.2 with additional support for Android and iOS mobile operating systems and enhanced core performance and functionality. The company believe that Qt 5.2 is "positioned as the only cross-platform development framework for UI and non-UI creation to enable intuitive and highly performing platform-independent software applications no matter the target device or screen size".

The Qt Mobile Edition enables hassle-free multi-platform application development and managing of apps with a built-in Qt-optimized cloud backend service, Enginio.

Qt has been updated to version 5.1 by Digia with the new update including Qt Quick, the Qt-specific declarative UI language. The inclusion of Qt Quick enables designers to develop graphically-rich UIs quickly and efficiently, which brings in new APIs and improves performance and stability with the implementation of over 3000 enhancements.

Digia has announced the launch of Qt 5.0, a major new version of the popular cross-platform application and user interface development framework for desktop, embedded and mobile applications. Qt 5 delivers a step function increase in performance, functionality and ease of use and will be the platform on which full Android and iOS support will be delivered during the coming year.

Digia today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Qt software technologies and Qt business it announced in August 2012. As Digia now becomes responsible for Qt activities including product development and commercial and open source licensing, the acquisition paves the way for Qt to become the world’s leading cross-platform application development framework across desktop, embedded and mobile platforms.

Digia has revealed that it has signed an agreement to acquire Qt software technologies and Qt business from Nokia. Following the acquisition Digia becomes responsible for all the Qt activities formerly carried out by Nokia. These include product development, as well as the commercial and open source licensing and service business. Following the acquisition, Digia plans to quickly enable Qt on Android, iOS and Windows 8 platforms.
