The patented ferrite core design of the new power choke has an air gap optimally centered to ensure a precisely defined saturation current. WE-CHSA can be used in the extended temperature range of 55°C to 150°C.

Berlin-Tempelhof played host to Formula E on 19th May, 2018. Following catch up scenes in the previous races, something historic was achieved this time: the first double victory for Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler and that with the maximum possible points score on a race day of the E racing series. Daniel Abt wins ahead of his team colleague Lucas di Grassi. Among the overjoyed supporters in the first row: customers, business partners and employees of the Würth Elektronik eiSos Group.

  Last weekend’s race in Montreal marked the end of an exciting season of the world’s first electric racing series. The hard battle has been won; Lucas di Grassi (pictured) is the new Formula E world champion. The ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport Formula E racing team celebrated second place in the team classification, with Daniel Abt finishing the season in eighth place in the world rankings.

The second season of Formula E begins with the first heat on 24th October 2015 in Peking. Team ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport (previously Audi Sport Abt Formula E Team), which is supported by Würth Elektronik eiSos, will be there too. The coming season is exciting not only as a sporting event, but also from a technological point of view as, for the first time in Formula E, motors, gears and motor software can be built by different manufacturers.
