Powertrain fluid concentration sensors integrated circuits and designs

An ultrasonic SoC contains Rx and Tx channels to interface with the ultrasonic transducer. The SoC uses time-of-flight to calculate level and is responsible for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves. 

An external RTD connection to the AFE measures fluid temperature for speed of sound compensation. A driver IC helps prevent shoot through and can be turned off once the Tx pulses have been transmitted.
