Shaft Telemetry System offers reliability and integrity
Wireless transmission of sensor data from rotating objects (driveshafts, wheels, motors, gearboxes, propellers etc.) is now generally accepted by mechanical engineers as a standard method for measurement applications in research, testing and vehicle development. For such tasks the new J1 single-channel telemetry system from CAESAR DataSystems, offers compelling reasons for using this technique.
Pulse and Pattern Generators are easy to use
Keithley Instruments has introduced the Series 3400 Pulse/Pattern Generators. They provide superior signal quality and precise control for pulse widths from three nanoseconds to 1000 seconds, as well as a simple, intuitive user interface. Series 3400 pulse and pattern generators are ideal for semiconductor device and material research and characterization, as well as in process integration and advanced materials research applied to such projects ...

The company is showing a range of instruments ideally suited to electronics production and test applications, including power supplies and oscilloscopes.
PIR movement detectors control interior and exterior lighting installations
The 18 Series of PIR movement detectors from Finder has been extended to include a new model that operates outdoors in addition to the existing indoor model. The units detect body heat to control lighting in a range of applications, including energy saving and security.
New computer is big on performance and low on price
Costing less than £200 for minimum quantities, the new EBX format Vega86-6240 from ICOP Technology UK has a range of features which you would normally expect to be be found in a far more expensive computer.
Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics of Serial Devices
LAVA Computer's latest addition supports diagnostics of serial devices such as PLCs, ECRs (Electronic Cash Registers), and other RS-232 equipment. Providing a bi-directional 'pass-through' data route between two serial devices, the LAVA DataTap-IP taps into serial data streams to port this data over IP, and additionally to a remote server, client, or COM port.
