EMC and RF testing chamber reduces costs and time to market

The TÜV SÜD Product Service has invested more than £400,000 in a new EMC and RF testing chamber, and will for the first time offer 24-hour testing services. Based at TÜV SÜD Product Service’s Hampshire headquarters, the new semi-anechoic EMC chamber is in addition to its eight existing ones, significantly increasing capacity to meet exponential market demand for a one-stop compliance service.

Safety service aids IEC 62368-1 compliance

A hazard-based safety engineering service to help electronics manufacturers cope with the requirements of the new IEC 62368-1 standard for audio visual and information technology products has been launched by TUV SUD Project Service. IEC 62368-1 is the first standard to introduce a hazard-based approach, rather than the more prescriptive method traditionally used for product safety.
