NEXCOM’s 10.4 ruggedized vehicle mount computer VMC 3000 series is designed for use in heavy-duty vehicles and can increase productivity and safety within harsh environments. The VMC 3000 series features scalable computing power, 10.4 touch screen and various wireless communication technologies. Combining a robust design and IP65-compliant enclosure, the VMC 3000 series can gather, display, transmit and receive information to help optimize route planning, increase situational awareness, and monitor vehicle status. It is therefore ideal for use within a variety of rugged vehicles with locations such as construction sites, mines, quarries or warehouses.
The vehicle mount computer VMC 3000 series offers two different levels of computing performance. VMC 3500/3501 is based on the 2nd generation Intel Core i7-2610UE processor and intended for computing and graphics-intensive intelligent systems; VMC 3000/3001 is powered by Intel Atom processor D2550 and designed as a energy-efficient solution for in-vehicle telematics applications.
All models have a 10.4 touch screen with XGA resolution and supports up to 1000-nit brightness. These vehicle mount computers can clearly show information outdoors, even in direct sunlight.
The VMC 3000 series has a built-in GPS receiver and allows for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G expansions. Combing the optional J1939/1708 interface, these vehicle mount computers can gather, transmit and receive vehicle parameters lying at the heart of workplace productivity and safety.

Designed with ruggedization in mind, VMC 3001/3501 encased in an IP65 enclosure offers complete waterproof and dustproof protection against adverse operating conditions. With integrated IP65-compliant front panel both systems are also ideal for use in the workplaces that are less challenging. As for usability, ten configurable function keys are provided for user-specified tasks and LED indicators for battery voltage and ambient temperature monitoring. Anti-shock, anti-vibration, and wide voltage input from 9~36V are supported by NEXCOM vehicle mount computers.
