Another product has been added to ABSOPULSE's line of three-phase sine wave inverters designed for railway applications. The CTP-300R-F7 Series' 300VA units meet the requirements of EN50155 for electronic equipment used on rolling stock. They deliver a three-phase output of 208Vrms, line-to-line, at 60 or 400Hz.

A 115Vrms phase-to-neutral output can also be used. The inverters operate from EN50155 input ranges of 24 (17-34V), 36 (25-51V), 48 (33-67V), 72 (50-101V), 96 (67-135V) or 110VDC (77-154V). Custom input/output options are available on request. A specially designed three-phase controller module contributes to the reliable operation of the unit. With design topology and the use of microprocessor controlled high frequency PWM technology, the low profile units are more compact than previous 300VA versions and measure 254x67x351mm.

The three-phase sine wave inverters are equipped with heavy filtering on the input and output and comply with EN50121-3-2. They also meet EN61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-6 and EN45545. Other protection features include 1500VDC input-output isolation, reverse polarity protection, overload protection, thermal protection and current limiting. Conformal coating provides protection against humidity and airborne contaminants. The units are rated for operation over a -25 to 50°C temperature range with no derating required; wider temperature ranges are available on request. Cooling is by conduction via baseplate with additional cooling by natural convection through the cooling slots.
