AEG Power Solutions to provide UPS systems for U35 light railway
AEG Power Solutions has announced that it has been selected by BOGESTRA to provide UPS systems for its U35 light railway. For more than 25 years, AEG PS has been supplying robust and high quality power supply solutions to its customer BOGESTRA. Overall, 24 power supply systems were renewed in the last three years at more than 20 locations including distribution and services.
The latest order for the installation of four more UPS systems was also successfully implemented. They protect the electrical power supply at the stations themselves, the control rooms and the tunnel lighting.
BOGESTRA selected AEG PS Protect 8.31 systems to replace its previous UPS due to their robustness, reliability and long lifetime. Other factors in the decision were AEG PS’ excellent service and the long product life cycle of Protect 8.31.
