AEC-Q101-qualified 100-600V standard rectifiers, which combine ESD capability with a wide range of current ratings from 10 to 20A , have been released by Vishay Intertechnology. Offered in an SMPD (TO-263AC) package, which features a 1.7mm profile and is footprint-compatible with the D²PAK, the SE10DxHM3/1, SE12DxHM3/1 and SE20DxHM3/1 are suitable for space-constrained applications.

The devices feature typical low forward voltage drops down to 0.96V at 12A, reducing power loss and improving efficiency for general purpose power line polarity protection in automotive applications. The rectifiers’ ESD capability allows them to provide class H3B (greater than 8kV) performance based on the AEC-Q101-001 human body model (contact mode).

The devices, which are built on an oxide planar chip technology, feature a maximum operating junction temperature of 175°C and an MSL moisture sensitivity level of 1, per J-STD-020, LF maximum peak of 260°C. The RoHS compliant and halogen-free rectifiers are suitable for automated placement.
