The complexities of the modern automobile continue to increase, with more and more technology being added to support communications applications and safety features. These technologies result in increased vehicle production costs for the manufacturer as well as increasing the cost of ownership.
Cost effective testing is one approach both vehicle and module manufacturers can use to ensure these costs are kept to a minimum. Anritsu is running a series of workshops throughout May that are designed to provide an in-depth look at the various testing techniques need to keep the modern car connected.
The workshops will consist of eCall technology overview and test requirements; introduction to cellular technologies, GSM/WCDMA/LTE, looking at typical measurement requirements and solutions and SRW technologies, (Bluetooth, WLAN & NFC), evolution of technology in the different versions and the test requirement.
There will also be two more workshops FMCW radar basics and measurements and RF cable basic properties and characterisation and installation tests.
Registration is open now for events in the UK, Spain and Italy with future dates planned for Germany to be announced shortly.
