Over-The-Air connected vehicle technology to aid fleet operators
Excelfore demonstrated its eSync system with ZF at the CES 2018 exhibition held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The demonstrations took place in the Excelfore demonstration suite at the Westgate Resort, and at the ZF booth (Tech East, LVCC North Hall Booth 8717). They showcased how the eSync Over-The-Air (OTA) platform for updates and diagnostic data retrieval gives operators greater control over their automotive fleets, providing secure mechanisms for continuous improvements in fleet efficiency.

Collaboration unveils infotainment solution at CES
An optimised in-vehicle infotainment multimedia system will be showcased at the CES show in Las Vegas by Cinemo, STMicroelectronics and Valens. The system is empowered by Cinemo’s Distributed Playback in-vehicle media distribution system and enabled by Valens’ HDBaseT Automotive technology running on ST’s automotive Accordo5 infotainment processor and Telemaco3P telematics processor.

At the 2018 international CES in Las Vegas, Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions will announce the Telematics eCall Plug (TEP), a retrofit plug-in sensor device. It delivers event data such as driving behaviour and crash detection for telematics, fleet management and insurance applications. The smart sensor device easily plugs into a standard 12V car cigarette lighter socket.

Electric intelligent SUV steals the show at CES 2018
At the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, BYTON debuted its first drivable concept car. With a digital design and human-vehicle interaction, the premium SUV functions as a next-gen smart device, built for the coming era of truly shared, smart mobility and autonomous driving. The new SUV will be manufactured at BYTON’s plant in Nanjing, China. Its price will start at $45,000. The car will be available in China towards the end of 2019, and in the US and Europe in 2020.
