The Teseo III product family from STMicroelectronics is a single-chip standalone positioning IC which can receive signals from multiple satellite navigation systems, including the Chinese BeiDou, the US GPS, the European Galileo, Russia’s GLONASS and Japan’s QZSS. The satellite-tracking IC is suitable for applications including in-car navigation systems, telematics systems, portable, marine, and fitness.

Integrating a satellite receiver IC with all passives and a pre-tuned GPS antenna, the PAM-7Q is a GPS/QZSS antenna module from u-blox. With low power consumption of 22mA at 3V, high sensitivity from -147 to -161dBm, sophisticated noise suppression (ensuring maximum performance even in GPS hostile environments) and I2C/UART interfaces (one of each), the antenna module makes it very simple to integrate global positioning.

Toshiba announce the introduction of a new VGA, 1/4 inch CMOS image sensor for automotive driver assistance system applications such as rear view cameras for parking assist systems, surround view systems and side view systems. The TCM5126GBA features a pixel size of 5.6μm and a full resolution frame rate of 60fps.

MOST150-based advanced driver assist system
The MOST Cooperation announce a new advanced driver assist system network based on the MOST150 star topology. The MOST150 based ADAS network transmits HD video streams from up to eight cameras, using up to 1.2 Gbit/s total bandwidth. Connected to a central node in a star topology over coaxial cable, the 360-degree automotive top view system uses small-footprint high dynamic range cameras. Based on a two-chip solution, these cameras do not require a microcontroller with the remote control feature.
