Delphi announced today the launch of five oxygen (O2) sensors, six MAF sensors and 12 ABS sensors to its engine management portfolio, and five fuel pumps to its fuel management portfolio.
Delphi Oxygen Sensors
Delphi's new O2 sensors for Chevrolet, Hyundai and Saturn applications cover 1.7 million vehicles on the road today. The construction and design of Delphi O2 sensors provide improved fuel economy over aging sensors and long-lasting, reliable operation. Delphi includes an anti-seize compound and protective coating on the sensor element that eliminates contaminants, such as oil or antifreeze, which can trigger the malfunction indicator light. Delphi's O2 sensors are tested to OE standards for durability, performance and environmental compliance.

Delphi MAF Sensors
Delphi MAF sensors represent an expansion of Delphi's mass air flow program and cover more than 19 million vehicles on the road in North America, including GM, Mazda, Subaru and Toyota applications. The all-new probe-only design eliminates the need for an additional flow tube, which helps shops manage inventory by reducing shelf space. Designed and manufactured to OE specifications, these new MAF sensors eliminate the need to replace the core (plastic flow tubes) and are easy to install, which lowers labor costs.

Delphi ABS Sensors
The ABS sensors cover more than 1.5 million BMW, Audi and Mazda vehicles on the road today. Using its OE technology, Delphi has improved the OE design by plating the connectors to help prevent corrosion and failure commonly caused by internal and cable short circuits, interrupted cables, mechanical damage to the sensor wheel, soiling and increased wheel bearing free play.

Delphi's comprehensive portfolio of sensors for domestic and import applications monitor vehicle functions to deliver accurate feedback to control modules, ensuring optimal engine performance.

Delphi Fuel Pumps
These new fuel pump module assemblies, which are designed with the benefit of more than 100 years of OE heritage, cover more than 750,000 North American vehicles on the road today and include:
•All 2003-2002 model year Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer 4.0L flex fuel V6 vehicles
•2008-07 model year Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500/2500 HD vehicle applications with 78.7 and 97.6 bed lengths

All of these newly released fuel pump module assemblies feature Delphi's Gen IV turbine pump, which utilizes the latest OE fuel pump technologies and materials and is designed to withstand today's harsh alcohol fuel blends. Designed to meet or exceed all OE vehicle manufacturer specifications, the new assemblies include Delphi's OEM-grade Packard wiring and electrical connectors for increased performance, durability and reliability over other aftermarket fuel pump module assemblies.

Inventory on the ABS sensors and oxygen sensors will be available in March 2012. MAF sensors will be available March and April 2012. Fuel pumps will be available April 2012.
