These sensor cables are used for example in the area of emission testing and catalytic converters. PROVERTHA manufactures the thermo sensor cables from the alloys Nisil and/or Nicrosil. Nicrosil is used as the positive leg and Nisil as the negative leg for the thermocouple. The alloys are thermoelectrically highly stable with regard to temperature changes. The thermo sensors can be used for the class 1 temperature range (-40 to +1000°C) in accordance with current standards. Upon request, the thermocouples are also pre-tinned and, as such, can be supplied ready for soldering.
