The newly developed waterproof and EMI-shielded HVR40 power splitters enable reliable and easy connections in high-voltage vehicle power supply systems, even within very limited spaces. The working voltage is 750 V DC for maximum current loads up to 40 A, the “High-Voltage Interlock Loop” prevents unintentional disconnections when under current load.
The Rosenberger HVR contact and connector systems were designed especially for power transmision applications in electric and hybrid vehicles. The harmonized connector system consists of HVR40 and HVR200 connector types - 2-phase high-voltage connectors with very low contact resistance for maximum current loads up to 40 A or 200 A.

EMI-shielded and waterproof according to IP X6K9KA current distributor boxes – so called Power-Distribution-Units (PDUs) – can be used for space-saving arrangements of the required cable assemblies. The product range also includes flat-contact connectors for maximum current loads up to 250 A and a direct-contact connector system for connecting cables to adaptor-systems, to batteries or for other connection applications in the engine compartment.
