TE Connectivity And Juice Technologies Team Up to Deliver Electric Vehicle Smart Charging

TE Connectivity (TE) and Juice Technologies, doing business as Plug Smart, announced today their teaming arrangement to provide smart Electric Vehicle (EV) charging solutions enabling customers to meter their EV’s electricity consumption and communicate data via an innovatie smart charging cord and socket. TE and Juice have a license agreement to bring this 120 volt (Level 1) charging solution to market.

New Decentralized Junction Box From Tyco Electronics Requires 50% Less Jumper Cable

With its new two-rail decentralized junction box, Tyco Electronics now offers a new way for locating junction boxes on a PV panel. Compared to the commonly used centralized junction boxes in the PV industry, the decentralized box requires 50% less jumper cable to connect to the next solar panel, as the junction boxes are located in the corner of the panels.

Tyco Electronics has announced the AMP NETCONNECT AMP-TWIST 6AS RJ45 connector. The AMP-TWIST 6AS SL Jack offers 600 MHz performance and exceeds the upcoming Category 6A component performance specification of the global cabling standard ISO/IEC 11801 amendment 2. The AMP-TWIST 6AS SL Jack is the key component of the new AMP NETCONNECT XGA cabling system.
