TDK has announced the introduction of 20A 300W rated models to the TDK Lambda brand i7C series of non-isolated DC/DC converters. The output voltage of these latest step-up and step-down converters is adjustable from eight to 24V, and they are optimised to operate from a wide range input voltage of nine to 36V. The converters transition from buck to boost mode operation without disruption in performance.

TDK Corporation has presented the new EPCOS aluminium electrolytic capacitor series B43548 with snap-in terminals. The capacitors feature an excellent maximum ripple current capability of 9.80 A (400V, 100Hz, 60°C). This makes them well suited for demanding applications in power electronics.

With output power levels of 5kW, 10kW and 15kW in 1U, 2U and 3U high 19” rack-mount packages, the new G50, G400, G500, GSP50, GSP400 and GSP500 models are fully compatible with the current series.

When the power supply voltage is decreased, voltage fluctuations can become more dangerous, requiring a high-performance DC/DC converter in order to operate within safe parameters. DC/DC converters can help to address these requirements, and power inductors are crucial components that affect DC/DC converters’ performance thereby enabling speed increases in LSIs while significantly reducing power requirements.

TDK has introduced the TDK-Lambda DBM20 DIN rail mount 24V 20A buffer module. The buffer module provides short term hold-up or peak power for loads connected to a 24Vdc output AC/DC power supply. It can supply an additional 250ms hold-up at 448W output power, or two seconds with a 2.5A load.

TDK has announced the introduction of the TDK-Lambda i7A series of 33A 500W rated non-isolated DC/DC buck converters, packaged with the industry-standard 1/16th brick pinout. The output voltage of these step-down converters can be adjusted from 3.3 to 24V and accept a wide range input voltage of 18 to 60V.
