Murata has announced the introduction of a 6-DoF (Degrees of Freedom) MEMS-based XYZ-axis inertial sensor for high precision machine control and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) positioning support. The SCHA63T features a digital SPI interface, enabling engineers to deliver industrial equipment with robust and reliable, centimetre-level positioning accuracy, even in environments where there is high mechanical shock and vibration.

Murata has now begun volume production of two new multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). Each of these components exhibits low levels of equivalent series inductance (ESL) and is targeted at automotive implementation. Supplied in a 0402 format (with 1.0x0.5mm dimensions) and providing a 1μF capacitance, the NFM15HC105D0G3 a tiny three-terminal low-ESL MLCC.
