Supply monitor integrated 300µΩ sense resistor

The LTC2947 power and energy monitor for 0 to 15VDC supply rails has been introduced by Linear Technology. Most power and energy monitoring ICs use an external sense resistor to measure current. However, choosing a sense resistor is not an easy task, especially when dealing with high currents, where available sense resistors can dissipate too much power, occupy a lot of board space or have a large impact on measurement accuracy.

Precision op amp features low 1/f corner frequency

The LT6018, a precision op amp featuring 30nVP-P 0.1 to 10Hz noise and 50µV max input offset voltage has been introduced by Linear Technology. Designed especially for applications sensitive to low frequency noise, the LT6018 has a very low 1/f corner frequency of less than 1Hz. The low input offset voltage holds over temperature and input common mode range: TCVOS is 0.5µV/°C maximum and CMRR is 124dB minimum.
