It has been announced that JOST UK will be demonstrating its one-stop-shop approach of providing all the design, supply and after sales services truck operators need on its stand, Number 5B30, at the Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show, NEC Birmingham 30th April to 2nd May.

This year’s Tip-Ex exhibition in Harrogate saw a JOST stand that was offering a complete range of components and accessories for tippers and tankers. Many of the display vehicles from a large number of manufacturers were fitted with several products from the JOST World of brands, which includes JOST, ROCKINGER, TRIDEC and Edbro.

Home Bargains is enjoying sustained growth in conjunction with JOST UK as the company is developing its fleet of distribution vehicles in preparation for continued success. The company depot has new workshop facilities for service and maintenance of its own fleet of 82 vehicles and 370 trailers.

  Available from JOST UK, the TriDec EF-S electro-hydraulic/electronic kingpin steering system can be fitted onto trailers requiring a low trailer neck, such as milk tankers, bulk trailers, low loaders and trailers of monocoq construction. Unlike mechanical and hydraulic steering systems, the EF-S system does not require a fifth wheel unit.

Human error can be taken out of trailer coupling through three-sensor fifth wheels, which allows the operator to be confident that the vehicle is safe to drive. The technology was pioneered by JOST UK 14 years ago, who here looks at how it has developed over the years and become popular with increasing numbers of fleets both in the UK and around the world.
