Featuring a useful life to 2,000hrs at +150°C, Vishay Intertechnology has introduced a series of AEC-Q200-qualified radial aluminium capacitors which provide high stability and reliability for automotive and industrial applications. The 160 RLA series capacitors offer very low impedance down to 23mΩ at 100kHz, a high rated ripple current to 2,000mA at +150°C and a capacitance range from 33 to 3,300µF over a voltage range of 16-50V.

Available in 10 case sizes from 10x12 to 18x35mm, the 160 RLA series polarised aluminium electrolytic capacitors' non-solid electrolytes, self-healing dielectrics and radial leads make them suitable for smoothing, filtering and buffering in SMPS and DC/DC power supplies.

The RoHS-compliant capacitors feature a cylindrical aluminium case with pressure relief - insulated with a blue PET sleeve - and are charge- and discharge-proof, so there is no peak current limitation.

Samples and production quantities of the 160 RLA series are available now, with lead times of six to eight weeks for larger orders.
