In-vehicle computer systems meet market demand for IoT devices


Manufacturer of embedded system and industrial motherboards, IBASE Technology, has launched its E-Mark certified MPT V-Series in-vehicle computer systems – MPT-7000V with 7th/6th Generation Intel Core processors and MPT-3000V with Intel Atom Processor E3845. The fanless MPT V-Series systems are designed to meet the market demand for IoT devices.

They use a wide-range voltage GPIO interface and provide network stability, supporting dual WAN card, redundant wireless communication, 3G/4G/LTE mPCIe modules with M.2 interface and two separate SIM slots. In addition to the adjustable tri-axial G-sensor with shock protection, all units offer a wide-range 12~36VDC power input and a wide-range -40 to 70°C operating temperature, allowing them run in demanding transportation conditions.

The MPT V-Series systems feature an innovative cable-free and swappable separate power supply module design that meets various regulatory requirements. They come with self-protection, self-debugging and reporting capabilities to actively or passively carry out the necessary protective measures. Each system incorporates a rich set of I/O connectivity including two Gigabit Ethernet, two USB and three COM for optional CAN Bus 2.0B / OBD-II. For the MPT-7000V, there are one PCI-E(x4) slot and two 2.5” drive bays for SSD drives.
