Whether it’s to accommodate trends such as increasing connectivity to the cloud or the Internet of Things, Wind River can help customers quickly and successfully address these changes.”

The new Android-based IVI device has been named the Clarion AX1 and features AM/FM radio, GPS navigation, Bluetooth streaming, Wi-Fi connectivity, portable hotspot/tethering capabilities for Internet connectivity on-the-go, app store access to buy and download music using the Infogo online music store, compatibility with Android smartphones/tablets and iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads, audio/video playback via USB and SD input, full HD to enjoy videos in 1080p, 6.5" capacitive multi-touch display, and rear camera input capability.

“With the advent of the Internet of Things, companies are seeking to deliver a richer and more connected experience in the car.
