Featuring a next generation Intel Atom "Bay Trail" E3827 CPU, Nexcom's VTC 1010 is fully fanless and built to comply with the MIL-STD-810G standard. Based on a DIN compact form factor, additional features include a powerful Gen 7 graphic engine for excellent graphic and multimedia performance.

A built-in CAN BUS 2.0B interface comes as standard, whilst an optional OBDII (ASE J1939/ J1708) port is available on request. Users can benefit from dual SIM card slots which allow users to switch between network carriers. Another additional option for users is the installation of a 4-channel analogue video capture card for NVR and surveillance.

The VTC 1010 can be configured to work with two independent WWAN connections with the potential to double bandwidth. Further to this, there is also intelligent vehicle power management with low voltage detection and ON/OFF time delay. Suited for remote maintenance access or for when the unit needs to be powered ON in advance of operation, the VTC 1010 can be waked up by ignition or by Wake-ON-SMS or RTC function.

The VTC 1010 is designed for a wide range of applications such as infotainment,  driver behaviour monitoring, AVL / dispatch and mobile video surveillance.
