Test platform tools achieve ISO 26262 certification
It has been announced that Synopsys' test platform tools for high-quality manufacturing test are completely certified for the ISO 26262 automotive functional safety standard. To achieve this, SGS-TÜV Saar, an independent accredited assessor, recently certified the tool qualification reports for the DFTMAX, DFTMAX Ultra, and DFTMAX LogicBIST solutions. These certifications are in addition to previously certified Synopsys test products that include TetraMAX II ATPG solution, DesignWare STAR Memory System and STAR Hierarchical System.

CXPI analysis increases oscilloscope options
CXPI serial bus analysis has been added to the range of options available on Yokogawa’s DLM2000 and DLM4000 Series mixed signal oscilloscopes. CXPI – Clock Extension Peripheral Interface – is an automotive serial bus interface that is designed to provide an optimised solution in applications previously served by the established CAN and LIN bus systems, which until now have been the main interfaces used for in-vehicle communications.

Gigabit LTE download speeds demoed in Frankfurt
The successful demonstration of Gigabit LTE download speeds has been announced by Keysight Technologies at the 2017 IAA Automotive Show. Featured as a part of Qualcomm Technologies’ infotainment demonstration, Keysight’s E7515A UXM wireless tester was used in combination with Qualcomm Technologies’ connected car platform, which features the Snapdragon X16 LTE modem, to achieve Gigabit download speeds.

STAS system deployed in HIKVISION laboratory

STAS system deployed in HIKVISION laboratory
  On 23rd May 2017, SGS and HIKVISION signed a partnership to establish the 'SGS-HIKVISION Joint Lab' at the HIKVISION facility, in Hangzhou IoT Scientific Park. In addition, SGS has deployed its Safety Testing Automation Systems (STAS) at the laboratory and helped with accreditation as a IECEE Customer Testing Facility (CTF 2).
