Expanding the company's 9-way AT circular series receptacle line, Amphenol has added a model with a smaller flange that can be fitted to all heavy equipment vehicles. These round receptacles are suitable for use as a diagnostic connector in demanding applications found on construction and farm equipment and in heavy-duty trucks.

The ATC-09-9-1939PN connectors provide a strain relief for the wires coming out of the back of each unit and a wave spring for higher vibration applications. They feature simple jam nut mounting for quick assembly and a smaller flange that saves space on mating panels. Environmentally sealed against moisture and contaminants, the corrosion resistant, heavy-duty industrial connectors are water resistant up to 3ft and provide an optional sealing cap for mating interface.

Operating over a temperature range from -55 to +125°C, the connectors can withstand more than 100 mating/unmating cycles and feature a reverse bayonet coupling design that allows for quick mating and unmating. Constructed from high quality copper alloy, with nickel and gold plating available, the connectors work with industry standard size 16 contacts and offer a contact retention system which helps decrease installation costs and increase reliability.

The ATC-09-9-1939PN connectors are RoHS compliant and meet the SAE J1939 specification for communication and diagnostics among industrial vehicle components. The connectors are priced from $3.25 per unit.
