4.1-9.5 DIN to N and 7-16 DIN adapters released in kit form

RF Industries has announced a complete line of 4.1-9.5 DIN to N and 7-16 DIN adapters, providing the most popular versions in kit form for organisation. 4.1-9.5 DIN connectors, commonly referred to as Mini DINs, are used in infrastructure and DAS installations for their compact size and low PIM performance, but are difficult to interface with the more widely used N and 7-16 DIN connectors.

QMA adapter is rated for less than-155dBc PIM performance

Rated for low PIM performance of less than-155dBc, using 2 tonnes at 20W, the RQA-5478 adapter has been released by RF Industries. Allowing the connection of a QMA male terminated cable assemble to equipment with an N female connector, the adapter features a QMA female to N male interface. The adapter, which is manufactured with a machined brass body and plated in a durable tri-metal (white-bronze) finish, features a gold plated contact.

DIN connector is plated in a durable tri-metal finish

The RFD-4195-1953, a 4.1/9.5 (Mini) DIN female-to-female barrel adapter, has been released by RF Industries. Manufactured with machine brass body and plated in a durable tri-metal (white-bronze) finish, the adapter features a PIM rating of less than or equal to -160dBc using 2 tones at 20W.

SMB jack is customised for a defence contractor

A custom SMB jack coaxial connector for a defence contractor has been designed by Aviel Electronics, a division of RF Industries. Designed to be attached to a piece of test equipment, the panel mounted SMB jack features a threaded passivated stainless steel type 303 body and hex nuts.

Low PIM cable assemblies for in-building DAS applications

The 4.1/9.5 (Mini) DIN connector interface is essentially a compact version of the 7/16 DIN with applications on DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) and wireless infrastructure. RF Industries manufactures 4.1/9.5 (Mini) DIN male connectors and terminates them onto Times Microwave plenum rated low PIM cables SPP-250-LLPL and TFT-402-LF.

Fiber optic trunk cables suited to wireless infastructure

A fiber optic trunk cable, which are increasingly being used to replace copper in wireless infastructure, is now available from RF Industries. Utilising Corning FREEDM One fiber trunk cable, the cables are offered with 6 strand single mode or multi-mode, 12, 24, or 36 strand single mode configurations, and can be used for indoor, outdoor, or direct burial applications. The cables are also flame-retardant and UV-resistant.
