Pressure sensor is compatible with corrosive liquid & gas

A small profile, media compatible, piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor has been introduced by Measurement Specialties, which is now part of TE Connectivity. The rugged 85BC is suitable for use in harsh applications including medical instruments, process control, fresh and waste water measurements, partial vacuum gas measurement, pressure transmitters and tank level systems.

Rugged pressure sensor provides 0.5ms response time

Measurement Specialties, part of TE Connectivity, has released a low power, compact, gel filled pressure sensor with an I2C bus interface and resolution of 2mm. Designed for depth measurement in various rugged environments, the MS5837-30BA features an ultra-low power delta sigma ADC that offers precise 24-bit pressure and temperature values.

Position sensor does not require perfect parallel alignment

Vibration sensor laboratory achieves CNAS ISO 17025 certification

Measurement Specialties has announced that its vibration sensor calibration laboratory in China has achieved ISO 17025 certification from the China National Accreditation Service (CNAS). All plug & play vibration sensors shipped from the facility conform to the globally accepted laboratory quality accreditation ISO 17025, in addition to being ISO 9001 and ANSI Z540-1 compliant.

Water level transducer collects half a million data points

A water level transducer suitable for harsh environments, has been introduced by Measurement Specialities. The battery-powered TruBlue 255 can collect up to half a million time stamped pressure and temperature data points with its standard 8MB of internal memory and 3.7m data points with its optional 56MB of internal memory.

Temperature sensor provides 5-200KΩ resistance range
