Featuring gold terminations for conductive gluing, the MC ATAU series of precision thin film chip resistors has been unveiled by Vishay Intertechnology. Operating over a wide temperature range from -55 to +155°C, the AEC-Q200 qualified resistors feature tight tolerances to ±0.1% and TCR down to ±15ppm/K in 0402 and 0603 case sizes.

Suited for modern precision electronics requiring reliability and stability, typical applications for the resistors include energy management and measurement in industrial and automotive electronics, such as engine control units, gear box controls, braking systems and lighting. The MC ATAU series is extremely robust against harsh environmental conditions, providing superior moisture resistivity of less 0.5 % at +85°C and 85% relative humidity for 1,000 hours.

The 0402 case size devices feature a resistance range from 100Ω to 47kΩ, maximum rated dissipation of 0.1W and operating voltages of 50V. The 0603 case size devices feature a resistance range from 100Ω to 100kΩ, maximum rated dissipation of 0.125W and operating voltages of 75V.

Offered with lead times of 8-10 weeks, the MC ATAU precision thin film chip resistors are available now for sampling and in production quantities.
