TTControl has today announced the introduction of the powerful new HY-TTC 500 controller family. Designed to satisfy upcoming needs for a wide range of high-end applications such as construction and agricultural machines, the freely programmable controllers can be programmed either in C or in CODESYS.

Incorporating a high performance dual-core ARM Cortex-R4 lockstep processor, the freely programmable high-end controllers are designed for use in demanding safety-critical mobile applications. Protected by a compact automotive-style housing suited for harsh environments, he controllers fulfill safety requirements up to SIL 2 (IEC 61508) / PL d (ISO 13849). The safety certified CODESYS Safety SIL 2 speeds up application validation significantly.

The HY-TTC 500 controllers are available with an extensive I/O set with various configuration options. This is what makes them so suitable for a wide range of high-end applications, e.g. a group of 8 I/O pins can be individually configured for use as voltage output, digital output or analog input. By utilising Ethernet for download and debugging purposes users can improve commissioning time.

HY-TTC 500 will be available in two variants HY-TTC 540 and HY-TTC 580 with different I/O sets and interfaces to meet specific OEM application requirements.
